Wednesdays at 3:30pm (September - May)
Third Sunday of Month at 9:15am

We offer an engaging, two-year program for seventh and eighth grade students so they can be prepared to affirm their faith on their Confirmation Day. Many students come right from Riverside Middle School to play in the gym, work on homework, and enjoy a delicious snack prepared by wonderful volunteers of our congregation each week.

We also have a Mentor Meet-Up on the third Sunday of each month during the school year during Education Hour.

We don’t believe youth are the future of the church — they’re the church right now! We strive to fully include youth in worship as readers, ushers, communion ministers, acolytes, A/V volunteers and by sharing their musical gifts. If your youth would like to get involved, just contact our church office or Pastor Carina.

In addition to leading on their own, our Confirmation Class will lead worship together on these dates this school year:

Every three years, 30,000 high school youth and their adult leaders from across the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America gather for a week of faith formation known as the ELCA Youth Gathering. Through days spent in interactive learning, worship, Bible study, service and fellowship, young people grow in faith and are challenged and inspired to live their faith in their daily lives.

Lutheran outdoor ministries offer camps, retreats, and conference centers provide experiences for people of all ages. Programs include youth camps, adult and family camps, trip and adventure camps, day camps, servant learning events and more. Through worship, study, games and activities, participants hear and see how active their faith can be by learning how to live and work together in an intentional Christian community.
