Hometown Missions

Hometown Missions is a fund that seeks to assist residents in need in the Watertown Unified School District. In rare situations, non-residents may also receive assistance. The top three needs of families in our community are rent assistance, energy assistance, and gas vouchers.

Funds are not given out without an interview with a member of our team who has a background in social work. Attempts are made to verify a person's situation. Except for gas cards, checks are always made out to a landlord/service provider. Money is never given directly to an individual.

Several Watertown congregations, community service organizations, and individuals support Hometown Missions. This is an active ministry and its work is never complete. Funds are always needed to continue supporting our community. Please contact the church office if you wish to donate towards this mission.
