Sunday School
Sundays from 9:15am-10:15am (September - May)
Join us for a weekly hands-on experience of song, scripture, study, and prayer for kids from 4K through Grade 6. After a large group music and prayer time, children and teachers head to their class areas for a learning time at their age level. Our Sunday School leaders are dedicated individuals who help share our faith and values with our youngest friends.
Additionally, our Birth to 3 Sunday School class gathers once a month to sing simple songs, play together, listen to bible stories, and create crafts and activities all at our own paces and levels. On the weeks we don’t meet for our class, you’re welcome to join us in the Birth to 3 room for unstructured play! Birth to 3 meets on the following Sundays during the 2025-26 school year: September 7, October 5, November 2, December 7, January 11, February 1, March 1, April 12, & May 3.

Family Worship Tools & More!
We try to do everything we can to help families actively participate in worship together! If there’s anything we can do to help support you better, please let us know!
Children’s Time
Every worship service includes a special time with children and the pastor. Kids come to the front where they get to have a conversation or participate in an activity related to the scripture readings for the day.Calming Room & Family Worship Tools
If your infant or young child is struggling with sensory overload during worship, you’re welcome to visit our Calming Room together. We have also prepared a variety of Family Worship Tools to guide and engage kids throughout worship. Pick a few items like our worship guide flash cards, children’s bulletins, coloring pages, books, “prayer buddies,” and sensory activities from the Calming Room and take them to your seat before worship begins!Instruments
Usually during worship we have a song or two where kids (and kids at heart) can play along on small instruments like shaky eggs and tambourines. An icon on the screen will let you know when it’s time to play along! We do ask that parents and guardians accompany their children when they visit the Calming Room or the Restroom. Thank you!

Leading Worship
We don’t believe kids are the future of the church — they’re the church right now! We strive to fully include children in worship as readers, ushers, communion ministers, and by sharing their musical gifts. If your child would like to get involved, just contact our church office or Pastor Carina.
In addition to leading on their own, our Sunday School classes will lead worship together on these dates this year:
- Sunday, October 26, 2025 at 10:30am
- Sunday, December 21, 2025 at 10:30am (Christmas Program)
- Sunday, May 3, 2026 at 10:30amSinging in Worship:
- Sunday, February 15, 2026 at 10:30am
- Sunday, March 29, 2026 at 8:00am & 10:30am (Palm Sunday) -

ELCA Good Gifts
A ministry of ELCA World Hunger, the Good Gifts program gives us the opportunity to purchase much needed supplies, animals, and services for people in need around the world.
Using our Sunday School offerings collected each week, gifts from the congregation, and a fundraiser or two, the kids of our congregation collect money throughout the school year and decide at the end of the year what they would like to purchase.
