Mentor Activities
As a reminder, we are not holding Mentor Meet-Ups this year. Instead, students/families are expected to set up three times with their mentor to complete three activites. Attached are the three activities that confirmation students are expected to do with their mentors.
The first activity involves the student and mentor attending a worship service together. Afterward, they have a conversation and complete the reflection sheet together.
The second activity involves the student and mentor attending an adult faith formation event (usually in-between worship services) and completing a reflection sheet together. We currently have a bible study meeting every Sunday through March 22. We don't have anything scheduled beyond that, but there should be a few other things in April & May.
The third activity can be done at any time and involves the student and mentor creating their own plan for a worship service. They can use hymnals, bibles, the internet... whatever they need. They just need to do it together.
Paper copies of each of these activities are available on the usher cabinet (where the worship notes are stored).
