  • Nathan Gerlach

    Saxophone

    Nathan Gerlach holds degrees in music education from UW-Stevens Point and UW-Madison, where he was active in both universities' jazz programs and served as a graduate teaching assistant for the UW Marching Band. He currently teaches instrumental music in the Cambridge School District and performs with several professional ensembles, including Madison-based band The Trophy Husbands. Outside of music, Nathan enjoys spending time with his wife, Kathryn, and their three children, Alyce, Sylvia, and Jonathan.

  • Matt Bowman

    Guitar

    Matt Bowman brings impressive versatility and musicianship to the stage, effortlessly moving between classic rock, oldies, folk, and contemporary pop. A talented guitarist with a knack for bringing energy and personality to every performance, Matt is also a member of the Madison-based band The Trophy Husbands. Known for his exceptional guitar skills, easygoing personality, and trademark modesty, Matt lets his playing do the talking!

  • Barry Dobbs

    Guitar & Vocals

    Barry Dobbs began his musical journey at age eight, learning organ from his church organist mother before discovering the guitar at age twelve. A versatile musician and songwriter, Barry has performed in numerous bands and played everything from drums and bass to tuba. His musical adventures include 18 years in Austin, Texas, the Live Music Capital of the World. Since returning to the Midwest, Barry has become a member of the Madison-based band The Trophy Husbands, bringing decades of experience, humor, and a little 1980s rock-and-roll flair to every performance!

  • Katie Gerlach

    Vocals

    Kathryn "Katie" Gerlach is an accomplished vocalist, pianist, educator, and church musician. A graduate of Luther College, she performed with the renowned Nordic Choir under Weston Noble. For more than 20 years, Katie has served as Director of Choirs at Cambridge High School and has held music leadership roles at Bethel Lutheran Church and Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Madison. She also coaches the WSMA State Honors Treble Choir. Passionate about connecting people through music and faith, Katie enjoys sharing her gifts in worship and performance. She lives in Cottage Grove with her husband, Nathan, their three children, and their golden retriever, Benny.

  • Bob Clark

    Bass

    Bob Clark brings decades of musical experience and versatility to the stage. Beginning his musical journey on saxophone in high school, performing Motown classics, Bob later discovered the bass guitar and developed a love for folk-rock. Over the years, he has performed with numerous ensembles, including theater pit orchestras, and is a longtime member of the Madison-based band The Trophy Husbands. Bob enjoys the group's eclectic musical repertoire and the camaraderie of performing alongside fellow musicians.

  • Patrick Kenney-Brown

    Keyboard

    Patrick Kenney-Brown is an accomplished pianist, composer, vocalist, and songwriter originally from Green Bay, Wisconsin. A graduate of UW-Madison, he holds degrees in piano performance and mathematics. His musical career includes performing at Bethel Lutheran Church, with Madison's Piano Fondue dueling piano ensemble, and at weddings, theatrical productions, and special professional events. Patrick continues to share his musical talents through a variety of performances throughout the Midwest, from the Wisconsin State Fair and now Immanuel in Watertown!

  • Karl Schweitz

    Drums

    Karl Schweitz is a versatile drummer who brings energy, rhythm, and years of musical experience to the stage. A member of Pollywog, a band founded by fellow musician Patrick Kenney-Brown, Karl also performs with a variety of groups throughout the area. Known for his adaptability and love of live music, Karl enjoys collaborating with fellow musicians across a wide range of musical styles. He resides in Cottage Grove, Wisconsin.

  • Jennifer Gulsvig Dunn

    Vocals

    Jennifer Gulsvig Dunn is an accomplished vocalist, music educator, and choreographer with more than 20 years of teaching experience. A graduate of Luther College, she also holds a master's degree from UW-La Crosse. Jennifer currently teaches vocal music in the Sauk Prairie School District, directing multiple choirs, show choir, and musical productions. She also serves as head director of the Shell Lake Show Choir Camp and is a clinician, adjudicator, and choreographer for show choirs throughout the region. Outside of music, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband, Marcel, and their beloved German Shorthaired Pointer, Auggi.

  • Alex LeMay

    Vocals

    Alex LeMay is a talented vocalist and UW-Madison graduate who has performed with a variety of musical ensembles and at numerous events throughout the Madison area. His musical background includes performing at Bethel Lutheran Church in Madison, where he shared his love of music and community. Outside of performing, Alex is an accomplished nurse in Madison, where he has received recognition and awards for his professional achievements. Whether caring for patients or sharing his voice onstage, Alex brings passion and dedication to everything he does, and is excited to be at Immanuel with you today!

  • Jacob Voigt

    Vocals

    A lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Jacob Voigt grew up participating in the church's music ministries, including praise team and handbell choirs, and previously served on Church Council. A 2012 graduate of Watertown High School, Jacob earned his theatre degree from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and is a member of Actors' Equity Association. His performance credits include Carnegie Hall, Radio City Music Hall, Castle Clinton, and regional theaters. Based in New York City, Jacob serves as Assistant Director of Student Affairs at Columbia University and Adjunct Professor of Acting and Voice & Speech at the New York Film Academy. He is delighted to return to Immanuel to share an afternoon of music with his home congregation and community.
