Sue Putra
Grades 5 + 6
Sue is so excited to teach 5th and 6th grade again this year, and she’s looking forward to learning new things along with the students. Classes will be interactive, include treats, and be relevant to what is happening in school and community - often applying memorable Bible stories to our daily lives. Action activities are included, providing fun interactions within the group. Sue welcomes students and their friends to join our class each Sunday. Had a sleepover Saturday night? No problem! Bring your friends and she’ll provide breakfast snacks.

David Morstad
Music
Since coming to Watertown in 1977, David has been active in many of Immanuel’s music programs. As the Sunday School musician, he counts on his enthusiasm to make up for his many wrong notes and he lives by the motto, “If you’re going to make a mistake, make a loud one.” And his mistakes are very loud, indeed. In addition to making music, David has a passion for disability inclusion and accessibility in faith communities. He has lectured about that from Ixonia to Istanbul, wrote a book about it, and, as time allows, blogs about it at www.LargerTable.com.

Pastor Carina has served as our pastor since April 2022 and Trevor has been on staff, most recently as Director of Congregational Life, since November 2020. They are both committed to cultivating safe, creative spaces for the youth of Immanuel to engage with their faith; have fun; and build relationships with other young people, their congregation and its leaders, their community, and (of course) with God!
