What We Believe

We believe God loves you!

As a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, we confess the triune God: Father, Son & Holy Spirit. Our goal is to be God's people as individuals and as a community. We gather weekly around God's
Word and Sacrament. We bear witness to our Christian faith daily. We care for each other within our congregation, in the Watertown area, and in the world. We endeavor to act as responsible stewards of God's gifts for all.

Vision Statement

Celebrating God's grace in Jesus Christ; Accepting all unconditionally; Growing in God's call to serve the world.

Mission Statement

Marked with the cross of Christ forever, we are claimed, gathered, and sent for the sake of the world.

Our Faith

Our faith tradition is based on a life-transforming story. It’s a story of a powerful and patient God who has boundless love for all people of the world, who brings justice for the oppressed. It’s a story of Jesus Christ, changing lives. It’s a story that brings comfort and strength to people who today live in modern, often unsettling times.
